Scion kicks off the fall season with another fresh line up of DJs and producers set to shred the speakers at The Roxy on October 14. Toddla T, Appleblim and 12th Planet will deliver an unforgettable night of dirty riddims and sinewave surfing sets dubstep fans will not want to miss.

Sheffield’s boy wonder beatsmith, Toddla T brings his unique genre-bending style to the show, infusing dub and dancehall with a dash of hip-hop, electro and garage. Bristol-based Appleblim, founder of Apple Pips label and resident DJ at London’s legendary dubstep night FWD, brings his deep, deadly and esoteric tunes to Scion’s House Party. A staple in Los Angeles’ dubstep scene, 12th Planet, opens the show, setting the bar high with big basslines and heavy-hitting tracks.

Disco gems dazzle the Sunset Strip as Pilooski, Runaway, In Flagranti and Thee Mike B hit the Roxy stage for the latest Scion House Party. On August 12, Scion opens the stage for DJs and producers leading the international disco renaissance to spin their edits and disco mutations along with unstoppable classics.

Parisian headliner Pilooski unleashes his wildly popular Dirty Sound System style with dance floor-ready edits of northern soul and leftfield pop. DFA’s Runaway, featuring renowned DJ/producers Jacques Renault and Marcos Cabral, work their raw mix of disco, post-punk and techno, while In Flagranti brings their “brash and vulgar” blend of sleaze, funk and electro to the floor. Legendary LA mixtape master and Banana Split Sundae resident Thee Mike B joins the stellar line-up to drop and chop an unpredictable set.

A couple days ago we attended Kode9 at the Scion house party the roxy was busting at the seams with the amount of bass pounding out of the sound system. After January’s DFA tour, Scion pumps up its free monthly House Party Series with bass champs from around the world. Follow the rolling sub-bass to find RUSKO, CONGOROCK, AC Slater and 12th Planet firing off their signature bangers at the Roxy on Wednesday, Feb. 18.

The U.K.’s RUSKO brings his high-energy dubstep sound while Fool’s Gold’s Italian stallion, CONGOROCK delivers an explosive set. Brooklyn’s AC Slater is set to tear up the club with grinding beats and 12th Planet kicks things off with spacey dub riddims.
